Q: How do I use Absolute?

Create a profile. Start by adding your email, delivery address, phone number, credit card information and create a password you’ll remember.

Create a ticket. If you need dry cleaning, folded laundry (or both), just schedule the times for pick-up and delivery that work for your schedule.

The Pick-up. An Absolute driver will pick up your laundry from your home or office at your specified time.

The Delivery. An Absolute driver will deliver your cleaned clothes to your destination. 

Q: What if this is my first time, and I don’t have Silver or Purple bags yet?

A: Excellent Question. After you create a ticket for the first time, when an Absolute team member arrives to pick up your clothes, they will bring you your Absolute Clean bag and place your clothes in it.

Q: What are the different bags for?

A: We use Silver bags for individually priced dry cleaning, pressed button down shirts and stained items, and Purple bags for folded laundry which is billed per pound and for large linens (ex, Comforters). Using different bags helps us to avoid any confusion between whether you want your clothing dry cleaned or laundered.

Q: Do I need to separate the whites and the colors in my folded laundry?

A: Not at all. We will take care of this for you.

Q: What should I do if some items of clothing need special treatment?

A: Just add it to the notes section when creating a ticket or tell your driver when they arrive for pick up. You may want to place any stained clothing in a separate plastic bag within your Silver bag so that we can be sure to give those articles special attention.

Q: How do I tell Absolute my cleaning preferences?

A: You can enter your preferences in the notes section of the ticket you created. Just type your starch preferences, detergent or any other preferences. You also have the option to place a recurring note for all future orders. Have a change of preference? No problem, they can be changed at any time in your profile.

Q: What kind of dry cleaning solvents do you use?

A: We do not use PERC. We use earth-friendly cleaning products which are better for your clothes and the environment.

 

Pick Up & Drop Off

Q: How do the time slots work for scheduling pick up and drop off?

A: When you create a ticket, you have the option to select the most convenient time for pick up and drop off. You will notice two types of time slots, Doorman time slots, and Hourly timeslots.

Doorman time slots

The Doorman time slots are intended for those who live in buildings with a 24 hour door staff. The time slots include Doorman Day (9am – 5pm) and Doorman Night (6pm – 2am). We use the Doorman Day time slot for our morning and afternoon routes, so please try to have your clothes with your doorman by 9am for pick up and we will have them returned by 5pm upon drop off with you door staff. We use the Doorman Night time slot for our evening routes, so please try to have your clothes with your doorman by 6pm and we will have them returned by 2am upon drop off with your door staff.

Hourly time slots

Hourly time slots are intended for those who don’t live in buildings with a 24 hour door staff. The hourly time slots include 6pm – 7pm, 7pm – 8pm, 8pm – 9pm, 9pm – 10pm and 10pm – 11pm. You can also you these slots for “unattended visits”. Unattended visits are when you decide to leave your clothing on the porch or in an apartment building with no doorman unattended. 

Q: What if I want my laundry picked up today?

A: We have you covered. In order to receive same day pick-up, just create your ticket before 9am for our morning route and before 5pm for our evening route.

Q: What if I want my laundry delivered the next day or same day?

A: We do offer “next day” delivery at no additional charge. When you create a ticket there is a note section for you to write us any specific instructions or any other comments regarding your laundry, including if you want it “next day” or “same day”. Please note that “same day” delivery is a premium service which costs twice the normal rate. “Same day” delivery must be picked up before 10am and will be dropped off after 4pm that day.

Q: Do you service my area?

A: Upon sign up if your zip code is not serviced your ticket will not be created and a pop up will notify you of this. If you would like to use our service, let us know so we can update accordingly. 

 

Pricing and Billing

Q: What are your prices?

A: We offer extremely competitive pricing and we post our price here so you will know exactly what each item costs. Our site is in real time so feel free to click on our price page anytime to see our up to date pricing. 

Q: What are the order minimums?

A: We have a $25.00 minimum on all orders. If this minimum is not met on your order our system offsets the order to bill out $25.00 automatically.  

Q: Should I tip the driver?

A: First off, thank you for choosing our service! If you’re satisfied with the job our driver has done, consider leaving a tip as a token of appreciation for their hard work and dedication. Your generosity not only acknowledges their efforts but also motivates them to continue delivering exceptional service. Every tip, no matter the amount, makes a significant difference and is greatly valued. This can be entered in the note field of your ticket on a recurring basis or if you want a one-time tip to be charged just let us know in your note field as well.

Q: What are your payment options?

A: We accept all major United States debit cards and credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Diners Club and Discover Card.
